Mp4 file wont download on ipod

Same export settings. One set of. I've tried deleting the original file, confirming export settings, re-exporting. I've sent the sets with the identical export settings to two different people and they've had the exact same result when attempting to download. Seems like the two sets were encoded different after being synced Dropbox.

If you could provide a list of possible reasons why this would occur and solutions that we could attempt that would be great. Or, if it's native to the app, an in dialog solution would be cool. Just a thought. Now I have to wait. Which delays my workflow. Which is frustrating. I hope you can empathizs. Tried deleting and reinstalling the app. Didn't work. Why do you want me to be sad Dropbox? What did I do? Ok, I recompressed the unsuccessful sets into smaller file sizes and that seemed to do the trick.

Sunny October 8, Thank you, the iTunes converter worked perfectly! I see you are still having issues with adding the. Have you tried to convert the files. I haven't tried this, but found this option while checking out iTunes 11, not sure if this was in earlier versions.

I have tired to create a new version like you suggested, where you suggested, and the first few times itunes froze, and after restarting a couple of times it now tells me: "One or more videos were not converted because they are already in the correct format".

It supports only fixed number of resolutions, so you should convert your video before sync. I recommend handbrake to convert video.

I downloaded handbrake, converted two of the mp4 videos with it. I then deleted those same videos that were currently in itunes. Then I uploaded the new handbrake converted ones, once in itunes they will play, when I tried to sync them with my ipod, the same result as above, its like they don't exist and they won't sync. As a side note, handbrake seems to be a cpu hog, it took all of the cpu's resources and shot the mac's temp up to degees F with a cooling pad.

It usually runs from F to F with a cooling pad.
